  6. Important: Configfiles and Prefsfiles from Version 2.5 are converted
  7. automatically, but have to be saved manually with "Save" in the EDIT-
  8. Window.

  13. - Gadgets can be protected with Passwords. Each Gadget can have its own
  14.   password.
  15.  
  16. - The EDIT-Function also can be protected with a password. This is useful
  17.   for computers that are accessible by the public.
  18.  
  19. - The HDCLick-Screen can now be opened in three different ways:
  20.  
  21.   -    Normal: The gadget-construction is visible.
  22.   -    Hidden: After the gadgets are drawn, the screen pops to the front.
  23.   - Scroll1&2: The screen scrolls to the top after the gadgets have been
  24.                drawn. Two speeds available.

  26. - The HOTKEY now affects more parts of HDClick, even if Hotkey is not
  27.   selected in the prefs:
  28.  
  29.   - If the HDClick-Screen is not front-most, it pops to the front.
  30.   - Hotkey is also active in the Iconify-Mode "Window".
  31.   - If HDClick is AppIconified, the Hotkey has the same effect as double-
  32.     clicking onto the AppIcon.
  33.   - If the Small-Window is behind other windows, it pops to the front.

  35.   So you can be sure that when you press the Hotkey, HDClick appears
  36.   somehow. You should choose a Hotkey that isn't used by other programs
  37.   of course.

  39. - This belongs to Bugfixes, but it's here anyway: It is now possible to
  40.   set the STACK of a program directly from HDClick. It has been possible to
  41.   define a stack in V2.5, but it didn't really affect the Stack... Now it
  42.   really does.

  44. BUGFIXES:

  47. - There was an error in the EDIT-Window's Startmode-Selection. It happened
  48.   that the MX-Gadgets showed a mode like "run" or "execute", but in reality
  49.   it was the mode "none". So if you clicked on your gadget, nothing happened.
  50.   This was a @#°@#° bug ! I had to search long for it, because it wasn't
  51.   in the Startmode-Gadgets, nor in the Startup-functions, nor the save-
  52.   function, but in some corrupt example-configfiles I had created a while
  53.   ago with an old Beta-Version.

  55. - Thanks to the exact Error-description by Herbert Lottner it's now possible
  56.   to use more than 4 colors in Productivity mode. But now, HDClick doesn't
  57.   test if you select too many colors for a Screenmode.
  58.  
  59. - Some other small bugs which could have been fatal if someone had tested
  60.   HDClick A_LOT are fixed.

  62. Support of the AppIcon or a SmallWindow-Gadget for Non-WB3.0 users

  72. This is possible if you use (WB3.0 only) "Multiview" as the starter-
  73. program in the AppPrefs ("Multiview @").
  74.  
  75. If you haven't got WB3.0 (like me), this can be done with a freely
  76. distributable program named Megaview combined with the Whatis.library
  77. (available e.g. from me or on a Fishdisk). All filetypes can be defined
  78. and the appropriate actions also. It only needs the installation of
  79. Megaview and the entry "Megaview @" in the AppPrefs of HDClick.
